My first AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE warning!
As far as online money making programs go, the first one I absolutely HATE is surveys. I signed up for these about 2
years ago when I was on disability. I had 3 months at home and wanted to see if I could make any money in my spare
time. Unfortunately I found paid surveys. I paid the $35 to join the course, downloaded the "auto fill" form filler and
proceeded to spend hours upon hours signing up for survey sites one after the other. I opened a Paypal business
account and a separate email account. It wasn't long before I started receiving these (they deliver a LOT of emails). I
filled them out diligently - Over and over I kept reading the rewards and every single one of them gave you a "contest
entry" ticket or you built up points for that particular account. I'm not kidding when I say I spent perhaps 100 hours
doing these. I'm also not kidding when I say I didn't make even 1 red cent - not 1 penny! After about 2 months of filling
out 20-30 surveys daily, I finally had enough. Every time I checked one out it was the same thing - Get 1 ticket into
the contest drawing for filling out our 15 min survey.

I don't know if others have had success with participating in surveys, or maybe even success in their Affiliate
Programs, but I will stick by this with ABSOLUTE RESOLVE - Avoid them at all costs! They are the biggest waste of
time as far as online money making ventures go.

**Update May 22, 2008 - To those who are "offended", let me clarify
It's funny how many complaints I've had from people who promote online surveys. In my OPINION they go hand in
hand with Pay To Click Programs. Basically they told me about how they made $40 last month using survey's or how
they make $10 if they click 10,000 ads. I'm not here to offend anyone - If you like survey's and PTC programs then by
all means do them. My point is quite simply this: Do you REALLY want to spend hours and hours online to make a few
bucks? If that is enough for you than that's great. It is certainly better than losing several hundred going after the
endless get rich scams that are out there. It's just not what I recommend spending your time on. I have a good day
job already. What I want to figure out is how to make some Real money online. It is taking me a LOT of work now, but
the goal is to build up a business that earns for me whether I'm on the computer or not. If you want to make a few
bucks clicking ads or doing survey's, that is totally up to you
- I wish you the best Success!
I'm hoping to help you avoid some of the mistakes I have made. Even if they couldn't
have been avoided, it's good to read about what others have been through. I could
just keep on promoting these things and let everyone find out for themselves, but
that isn't why I got into online marketing. I'm trying to help people no matter what
stage of their online career they are at - I will update this as often as possible!
If your looking to start a work at home business, you might find these programs
online. AVOID them! I will be updating this list anytime I find a program that is
nothing but a waste of time. I hope I save you some time with these warnings.

Contact Them! - Found April 2, 2008 - DIED around May 15th
This is my first big hit in online marketing. The other day I got 2 lousy reviews at LinkReferral that said the site didn't
load. I figured it was someone on dial up being a hater but nope - I clicked the links and nothing came up. I went to my
home site (right here obviously) and the 4 ads on the front page were gone. I tried to go online and checked my emails
to see if someone had notified me. Not a thing. I had almost 200 affiliates signed up under me since April 2 and now it's
just gone. Spent a bunch of money for advertising at LinkReferral and promoted my Butt Off to get everyone to join.
Now the company has up and disappeared.

So I guess it's my first real lesson in online marketing. Although I'm not sure if I could avoid it again. It was free to join
and looked legitimate. I had seen their advertisements in a few other places. I guess the one thing I can say is this was
definitely the "Too Good To Be True" program. So from now on I will be investigating programs further. Here is a tip for
researching a program.
Type in the Program Name - SCAM. This is a good way to find out others experience with
most programs being used. I don't know much else about how to avoid these things, but the SCAM will give you a start.
Affiliate Junktion Review
Affiliate Junktion was one of the first affiliate programs I joined early in my online career. I would recommend you AVOID
Affiliate Junktion. This company doesn't really disclose much in their Terms of Service, but that wouldn't matter much
anyway because they change their Terms of Service whenever they feel like it.

They cut 70% of my Approved Leads in September. They switched to NZD which pay about 1/2 of what their program
says. Everytime I emailed support, all I got was "you agreed to the Terms of Service"

I invested about $4,000 in advertising this company. I got 2,148 signups just in September. That should have earned
my $4,296 - They sent me a check for $750.
